There will be three hearing tests in all. The first is within 2 weeks of beginning Bérard AIT, the second is between days 5 and 6, and the third is within one week after finishing. This is obtained from a licensed audiologist. The cost of these three tests is about $200.

 

Although we do have protocols to use for clients who cannot cooperate with the audiological tests, Dr. Bérard found it helpful to get information from a comprehensive audiology evaluation to individualize the AIT program.

 

It is recommended to have an additional hearing test between 3-6 months after doing Bérard AIT.
